Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise: Healthy Initiatives at Argent Tape and Label

Argent Tape and Label, Inc. recently sponsored and exhibited at the Buy Michigan Now Festival in Northville, Michigan. The Buy Michigan Now Festival is a weekend celebration of the state’s annual Buy Michigan Week. The festival included tasty treats, street vendors, live music, children?s activities and many guests all looking at Michigan-based or Michigan-made products.

The Buy Michigan Now campaign started in 2008 as a statewide campaign designed to revitalize the Michigan economy. There is an enormous amount of products that are grown, manufactured, or distributed by Michigan-based companies and the festival and campaign helps support them.

Since the campaign started, many stores have grown their Michigan-based products and decided to highlight them in the aisles. For example, Busch?s Fresh Food Market has a program they call Growing Home, about growing something greater for the local entrepreneurs, farmers and communities by offering thousands of local Michigan products. It is a program of which they are very proud as they, too, are a Michigan born and raised store.
